**Job Overview:**
We are seeking a dynamic Retail Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales and customer service, with a knack for promoting products and providing exceptional shopping experiences.
**Duties:**
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Recommend products based on customer needs and preferences
- Operate computers and handle transactions accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor
- Upsell products to maximize sales opportunities
- Provide information about products, pricing, and promotions
- Process returns and exchanges following company policies
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals
**Requirements:**
- Proven experience in retail sales or a customer service-oriented role
- Proficiency working with computers and knowledge of Quickbooks
- Strong communication skills in English
- Knowledge of retail math principles for transactions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
- Familiarity with flooring products such as tile, carpet, vinyl, etc is advantageous
- Previous experience in flooring sales is preferred
- Design knowledge is extremely helpful
